Ms. Daley is the founder and
President of Procedural Coders Institute and has been actively involved in
the health care industry for over 44 years.
Over this span of time, in addition to the clinical experience, she has been a "hands on"
business manager and administrator for a multiplicity of medical specialties with active,
controlling involvement in all aspects of account receivable management, billing and coding
operations management, employee management and training, contracting, and active interaction
with Third Party Payers as well as Indemnity Insurance Plans, Managed Care, Workers
Compensation and insurance audits - chart reviews. She also has a great deal of experience with
Medicare, Champus, and Medicaid (California Medi-Cal, Arizona Access).
Additionally, Ms. Daley is an approved PMCC instructor for the American Academy of Professional Coders
(The Academy) and teaches certification review classes to AAPC certification candidates at the following
accredited Universities:
Ms. Daley also functions globally as a speaker on
medical coding to physician providers and coding staff in
government agencies such as the United States Air Force and the
United States Department of Health and Human Services, Indian
Health Service and conducts physician/staff individual
office training upon request. For the past four years she has been involved in physician documentation
training and staff certification programs for Indian Health Service sites throughout the United States.
